Hitomi Honda (ひとみ, 히토미) is a Japanese singer and actress under Off the Record Entertainment. She debuted in 2018 with Japanese-Korean girl group IZ*ONE. She debuted as their Lead Dancer, Sub Vocalist, and Sub-Rapper. In IZ*ONE she is represented by the color Peach as well. And She The Member Of Japanese Group AKB48
Born as Honda Hitomi (Japanese:本田瞳; Korean:혼다 히토미) on Oct 6, 2001 (age 23) in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan.
History[]
Debut with AKB48[]
In 2014 at the age of 12, Hitomi auditioned for AKB48's Team 8 representing Tochigi Prefecture. In 2018, Hitomi participated in the MNET survival show Produce 48, which was a collaboration with AKB48. She ranked C originally, moving up to A in the second re-evaluation. In the finale she ranked #9, debuting with IZ*ONE.
2018-present[]
On Sept 24, 2018 it was announced by Off the Record, that IZ*ONE members Nako, Sakura and Hitomi would be pausing activities in AKB48, to focus more on their career with IZ*ONE for 2 years and 6 months.[1] On Nov 28, 2020 it was announced that Hitomi would also take a hiatus from her radio show title "Honda Hitomi’s World Get You".[2]
